July 02-06

*The College reopens on June 02 for the Second years (us)  and we had our bridge course in this week from 02/06/2018-06/06/2018.
*We learnt how to prepare aids and many other things in this bridge course.
*And we also modified our four fold lesson plan.
*On this Tuesday, We got our Permission and Syllabus for our internship period of 16weeks

February 1-16

We have learnt to write mini lesson plan and started teaching practices using all skills and various instructional materials.We are preparing mini lesson for both Level 1 and Level 2.We had our First school visit on 03/02/2018.We went to Esaki Vidhyashram CBSE school, Tenkasi and Amar Seva Sangam an inclusive school,Ayikudi and we observed their teaching and learning practices.On Feb 7,We had a seminar on Constructivism which was taken by Dr.Annaraja,Educational Advisor of our College. We have completed our EPC 2 record and got corrected. On Feb 9,we had our second school visit to Flourance school for deaf and dumb in palayamkottai, St.Anne School for Blind in palayamkottai and St.Antony's Public School.We had learnt lots of teaching practices.And we also went to book fair in  Tirunelveli.We had a Mass on Feb 14 for Ash Wednesday and we had a class in which our professor taught us to prepare a blueprint and other tables for Achievement test.And Macro Teaching practice is going on.We had a effective classroom management practices workshop on Feb 16.The Resource person for this workshop was Dr.Pascale Zyto and Dr. Alaln Zyto SRFD,IPAA,Paris,France.This workshop was really effective and they gave us lots of wonderful tips such will help us to handle the learners in the Classroom.

January

This month started with a prayer on January 2 and most of the portions were completed in all Subjects and Students seminar was started.Students were divided into 10 groups and we had given time to prepare for TNPSC Group 4 and TET examinations and we had few library hours too.In EPC 2 competitions were conducted on January 8 and 18.Essay writing,Singing,Dancing,Drawing,Fancy dress, Elocution,Drama were conducted. We had sports meet too. On Jan 8,we had Shotput and on Jan 9 we had Running, Javeline, Long jump.We also celebrated Pongal in a grand manner. Even people from Abroad had joined with us in Pongal celebration. Inter School Competition was conducted in our college.More than 30 schools had participated.Prizes were distributed separately for English and Tamil medium schools.From Jan 22,Internship started for us.And we are learning to implement all our skills of teaching in our teaching process. We are practiced one skill a day with proper aids and our professor corrected our mistakes and helped us to improve our teaching skills.

After a long break i'm updating my blog
Because of rain our exams got postponed and my 2nd internals got over at 5/12/2017
and after that we were preparing ourselves for Christmas celebration
On Saturday we made some decorative items for christmas tree and all
We planned all the programs for Christmas celebration which is on 22/12/2017
And our 2nd internals marks was given and i have scored good marks :)

On 25/11/2017 we had an National level seminar on 'Web based and Interactive teaching and learning methods" starts @10am and ends @4:45
So I will update a report on this shortly

On Saturday (18/11/2017),
we had TET preparation class in the morning from 9:00am-10:45am
and we prepared seminar for National Level Seminar from 11:00am-12:30pm
After the Lunch break,
we had Language Across the Curriculum class for an hour and then we had physical education period
On Monday (20/11/2017),
After the Assembly we had Pedagogy class in which we learnt about Group learning and Interactive learning
3rd period: Understanding Disciplines and School Subjects in which we had test in Content of Knowledge firm
4th period: Contemporary India in which we had a activity by 8th unit group
After the Lunch break,
we had Learning and Teaching in which activity on Learning outside the classroom activity is done by Strawberry group
6th period: Childhood and Growing up in which students took seminar on the topics allotted to them
7th period: EPC in which we prepared for National Level Seminar.

16/11/2017 and 17/11/2017

On Thursday,
1st and 2nd period was EPC  in which we planned for Christmas celebrations
3rd period was pedagogy in which we learnt about experience learning
4th period was Learning and teaching in which we discussed about the types of diverse classroom
After the lunch break,
5th period was GSS we write a test on unit 3
6th period was Contemporary India in which we prepared the report on an Invited talk
7th period was Childhood and growing up in which we had learnt about socialisation
On Friday,
1st and 2nd period was Childhood and growing up in which we learnt about Adolescence
3rd period was pedagogy in which we learnt about Problem solving method
4th period was Understanding disciplines and school subjects in which we learnt about the Advantages of learner oriented curriculum
After the lunch break,
5th period was Contemporary India in which we had 7th unit activity
6th period was Learning and teaching in which we had learner centered teaching activities
7th period was Language across the curriculum in which we learnt about learning outcomes of LSP
